Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is located in Jasper, GA approximately 60 miles north of Atlanta.

We are building a pool of interested and qualified candidates in anticipation of potential future staffing needs.

To maintain a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors by maintaining equipment, physical plant, grounds, and emergency response equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic I is responsible for being shift supervisor in the absence of the Hospital Engineer, by insuring maintenance duties are carried out by responding to work orders, P.M. program, and responding to any emergencies that should arise. The Maintenance Mechanic I will participate in supporting the facility’s mission statement, achieving customer satisfaction, and identifying system problems as opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications
Graduate of High School. Must have a valid drivers licenses. Dependable transportation to and from work. Ability to change hours as needed. Must have a working telephone. Ability to learn quickly. Working knowledge of different types of paint. Must be able to work around paint and cleaners. Ability to furnish own hand tools. Ability to work overtime if necessary. Must have basic computer skills. Must have ability to communicate in a professional manner with employees and customers.
