Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is located in Jasper, GA approximately 60 miles north of Atlanta.
We are building a pool of interested and qualified candidates in anticipation of potential future staffing needs.
Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures for the purpose of detecting pathology. Assisting the physician with US studies. Recognizing normal Vs abnormal anatomy. Completing all post-processing functions. Performing related record-keeping and patient care functions utilizing established protocols and techniques differentiating for infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of procedures and functions. Has an extensive experience with available ultrasound equipment in terms of product evaluation, troubleshooting and quality control. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound with current registration or registry eligible by the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Demonstrates proficiency in skills applicable to Ultrasound technology. Current BCLS certification required.
